Chives have a good amount of fibers while tofu is high in protein. The firm tofu after frying gets crispy outside but tender inside. With the enhance of the beef stock powder, this vegetable dish is quite savory.
Ingredients
- 16oz Firm Tofu
- 14oz-16oz Chives
- 1 tbsp Dasida Beef Stock Flavor Power(Or Assi Brand)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/3 cup Olive Oil(Not Extra Virgin)
Serving: 2 People
Instructions:
Step 1
Get rid of the wrinkled/bad part of chives, then rinse them under water a couple times. Cut the chives in 1.5in pieces.


Step 2
Open the tofu and drain the water. Cut the tofu into long and flat pieces.



Step 3
Put tofu and oil into a non-stick pan. Heat pan on medium high till the oil starts to bubble. After oil bubbles, cook for another 2-3 minutes till tofu is golden brown. Flip tofu and cook for another 2-3 minutes till golden brown on the other side. You can use a pair of chopsticks to flip the tofu cubes. Be careful, the oil pops.



Step 4
Add chives, Dasida powder, and salt to the pan. Gently stir and flip the tofu and chives till the chives are soft.



Step 5
Ready to serve!
