I was on a keto diet for a year and invented this dish with Japanese miso and Chinese pickled habanero. Both condiments have low carbs. It’s not only keto-friendly but also easy. Hainan pickled habanero pepper gives it a fresh kick. I prefer fattier meat like pork shoulder roast for the grill.
Ingredients:
- 2.5 lbs. Pork Shoulder Roast
- 2 tbsp Red Miso Paste
- 3 tsp Hainan Pickled Habanero Pepper
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
Serving: 3 People
Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 415 Fahrenheit. Cut the pork shoulder roast to thin slices. Add Miso.


Step 2
Add Hainan pickled habanero. Add oil. Mix everything. It is optional to leave the meat marinated for 10 minutes.



Step 3
Get a baking tray covered with foil. Spray some oil on the foil. Lay the meat on the baking tray.


Step 4
Put the meat in oven for 15 minutes till the edge of the meat turns brown. Then enjoy!
